How Philips continued its organizational transformation by collaborating with Gladwell Academy to create a transformative e-learning platform.
As one of the world’s most renowned tech companies, Philips realized it needed to adopt Agile working practices in order to improve continuity and effectiveness among its many divisions. Having already began their organizational transformation, Philips also understood that the market is evolving, and the traditional approach to Agile education and transformation needed to be updated for them to grow during this critical moment.
Under the leadership of Priscilla Dunants Maurits-van Wijngaarden, Global Head of the Agile Practice at Philips, the organization partnered with Gladwell Academy to develop an innovative e-learning program named "Agile360". Customized to Philips' needs and culture, this platform would not only empower employees with the principles of Agile, Lean, and Design Thinking, but also inspire the neccesary mindset shift for individuals and teams to embrace Agile practices.
A multidisciplinary team was formed in order to develop this e-learning platform, which collaborated with experts in Lean, Design Thinking, Change Management, HR, and Project Management to create an integrated approach for transformation. In doing so, the business would become even more competitive, and provide greater value to their customers during the disruptive times we live in.
